Going Native
These nails were inspired by one of my favorite types of jewelry. I hope you can see the American Indian influence of the red coral and opal inlay with turquoise as well. I think it turned out very well especially considering I free-handed everything. I was worried my lines would be very uneven and crooked. But, turns out being a perfectionist can pay off in some areas. 🙂
I created these for a nail art challenge hosted by Louise of Mommy Loves Nail Polish to celebrate her blossoming Facebook page. Go check her out. She is a sweetie.
To get this look I used
Sansan – Sea green
Sally Hansen -Fireball red
Caronia – Crystal
Kiss Nail art striper in black
Dotting tool for stippling

I love the colors you used! They all work so well with each other. And great job with the free handing. It looks great! 🙂
Thank you so much!
This looks rad! I would love to try this sometime 🙂
Thanks a lot! You should! They were a lot of fun to wear.
You need to do my nails again and use this pattern. Maybe you could figure out a way to add a lizard on one nail. Love these colors.
