Sassy Flowers

Happy Valentines Day y’all! Here are some very feminine floral nails I just whipped up for my hot date with the hubby to the grocery store tonight! Ha! I’m not a huge fan of this subtly glittery green on its own but it makes a great base for this mani.

To get this look I used:
Chic – Peridot
Cover Girl – Sassy Stawberry
L.A. Colors – Raspberry (the darker pink)
Dotting tools

I hope y’all like it. Please leave a comment and have a great day.

Antique roses

I thought I would share with you all the very first real nail art I did several months ago which really started me on my new hobby. 🙂

Isn’t it pretty? I was in love and decided I really wanted to use my nails as my creative outlet. I’ve had so much fun since then!

I probably followed a tutorial but I honestly don’t remember. I know, I know… Not cool.

To do this I used:
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear – Mint Sorbet
Wet n Wild – 436 (Pink pearl is the name I believe. It’s really old)
Chic – silky white
Dotting tool
Brush

Sakura/Cherry blossom nail art

Cherry blossoms are so pretty and in all fairness these aren’t so much an attempt at copying the beauty of cherry blossom trees as they are an inspired artwork. 🙂 They are so pretty and very easy to do actually.

I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet (purchased in the US) and then used a thin artists brush and some brown acrylic paint to make my trees and branches. Then I used light pink and dark pink acrylic and a dotting tool to add the flowers.

I hope you like them. I sure do!

Abstract

Hello again!
This mani was done with a polish i would describe as gray with a hint of purple. It is a Wet n Wild color I bought many years ago so the label is gone and I have no idea what it is called. I used black acrylic paint and a small paint brush for the design. I was going for flowers but I think perhaps I tried to fit too many flowers and it ended up looking more like swirly patterns. Still, I really like the way it turned out. Next time I try it I think I will make the flowers a bit bigger. I think this look would look be nice with any soft color as the base. I hope you guys like it.
